biztribution answers availability, fares, schedules, routing and pricing on behalf of the provider: airline, hotel or any travel supplier using only data the provider creates and owns, ingested as it changes. Travellers get the provider’s own answer; your systems focus on booking and payment.

Not a mock-up: every demo calls real biztribution web services on dummy data (milliseconds are shown for reference).

01 Why now

Look-to-book grew 100× in twenty years. AI is adding the next zeros.

Twenty years ago, an airline answered around a hundred searches for every ticket it sold.[4] Metasearch multiplied every query across dozens of sellers, modern OTAs multiplied it again[3] — and IATA now estimates the ratio at tens of thousands to one.[2] AI agents are about to remove the last limit on search traffic: the human.[3],[4]

The shopping shift

Airlines are taking shopping back from the GDS — and every search with it.

For decades, airlines delegated shopping: they filed fares and distributed schedules and availability, and GDSs answered the searches. That kept search volumes away from airline systems.[2] With NDC and Modern Airline Retailing, the industry is moving to 100% Offers and Orders[5] — the airline creates every offer itself, so shopping traffic increasingly lands on airline systems.[2]

  1. Yesterday

    Shopping delegated to the GDS

    • Airlines file fares and distribute schedules & availability
    • GDSs build the offers and absorb the searches
    • The airline mostly sees bookings

    Who answers each search?GDS

  2. Today

    The transition

    • NDC offers flow alongside traditional GDS content
    • More and more searches reach airline systems
    • Look-to-book becomes the airline’s own problem

Who answers each search?GDS + airline

  3. Tomorrow

The airline in charge of shopping

    • 100% Offers & Orders: the airline creates every offer
    • Every search — human or AI agent — asks the airline
    • Retail-scale shopping capacity becomes a core airline capability

    Who answers each search?The airline

biztribution lets the airline take charge of shopping without its Offer & Order system carrying the load: every search answered on the airline’s behalf, from the airline’s own data, transparently for the traveller.

The agentic shift

One sentence. Thousands of searches. One ticket.

Tomorrow’s traveller won’t search — they’ll delegate. The agent re-runs the search around the clock across every date, connection and seller until the price appears.[4] IATA expects agentic AI to keep “continually modifying searches to seek the best deal.”[2]

Illustrative simulation: a traveller asks an AI agent to find a trip from Singapore to Sydney for less than 450 Australian dollars. The agent re-runs searches across dates, connections and sellers for days, generating tens of thousands of shopping requests, until it finds a fare under the target and books one ticket.

Every one of those requests lands on someone's PSS — unless biztribution answers it on the provider’s behalf.

02 How it works

One direction of data. Unlimited answers.

The provider — airline, hotel or any travel supplier — pushes the data it already owns and stays the single source of truth. biztribution ingests every update at high speed and answers every channel on its behalf. The reverse path simply does not exist.

  1. The provider is the single source of truth

Airline, hotel or any travel supplier: every answer comes from data the provider creates, owns and pushes — ingested the moment it changes. biztribution never becomes a second version of the truth.

  2. We reply on the provider’s behalf

biztribution answers shopping requests in the provider’s name — with the provider’s content, prices and business rules — exactly as the provider’s own systems would.

  3. Transparent to the traveller

Travellers, OTAs and AI agents simply receive the provider’s answer, only faster. Nothing changes on their side: no new brand, no redirect, no different content.

push → ingest → answer → book

  1. 01

    Push

The provider pushes schedules, availability, fares and rules as they change. Nothing is pulled from inside your perimeter.

  2. 02

    Ingest

Highly performant data ingestion absorbs every update — from full schedule loads to individual availability and fare changes — so answers always reflect the provider’s latest data.

  3. 03

    Answer

Scalable engines answer look-to-book traffic in milliseconds — in the provider’s name, with the provider’s content and rules.

  4. 04

    Book

Only the shoppers ready to buy reach your PSS / Offer & Order system — for booking and payment.

03.1 Solutions

One engine. Every look-to-book answer.

High-end computation that replies in milliseconds on behalf of the provider — from data the provider creates and owns, transparently for the traveller. Pick the solutions you need; they work alone or together — and every one is available as a web service.

Solution 01 · Availability

Reply with hundreds of availabilities in milliseconds.

Serve every availability request without loading your PSS or Offer & Order management system. Seat inventory is pushed by the airline, ingested instantly and answered by biztribution at retail scale.

  • No read-only traffic reaching the PSS
  • Built for peaks, promos and metasearch bursts
  • Always consistent with airline-owned inventory

03.2 Performance

Fast on purpose. Proven on massive data.

We stress-test high-performance data ingestion and search with datasets far larger than any airline’s daily shopping needs. If it answers these in milliseconds, it answers yours faster.

Nobody computes travel data faster.

We have yet to meet a system that answers travel data faster than ours — and we publish the milliseconds so you can check. Every figure below is measured on live services, not modelled.

Measured from Europe against our live demo: finding one record among 250 million returned in 58 ms — about 49 ms of that was the internet round trip.

Run it yourself.

Pick any two airports. We look up your pair first, then 9 more at random, each finding one O&D among 250M+ mileage records. Values are synthetic stress data — the speed is real.

Figures come from biztribution technology demos running dummy data on a real production environment. They are stress tests built to prove speed — every solution above runs on the same engine.

03.3 Technology

Scales with your airline, not with your PSS.

biztribution is delivered as a service. You tell us what you need — redundancy, peaks, availability — and we design, run and scale the setup: independent services packaged in containers, each one scaling on its own, from a single airline to a multi-airline network, from today’s traffic to the agentic era.

Sized to your airline — and resized as it grows.

One airline’s direct and indirect shopping: a compact platform with room for peaks.

    Independent services

Availability, prices, Pricing Guru, routing, schedules, geography, fees & taxes and more run as separate services. We scale the ones your traffic stresses — pricing for a promotion, routing for AI agents — without touching the rest.

  • 02

    Fully managed, as a service

Nothing to install or run on your side. You describe your needs — geographic redundancy, peak traffic, availability targets, regional preferences — and we choose and operate the right setup for them.

  • 03

    Scale in one step

When your traffic grows or a peak is coming, we add capacity in a single step — new compute units join automatically, with nothing for you to do.

  • 04

03.4 Web services

All of it is an API. Build whatever you need.

Every capability on this page is a documented web service: one request at a time, or thousands in a single call. That gives airlines three ways to move fast, and none of them comes with a fear of searches: every call is answered on the airline’s behalf, in milliseconds, without touching its PSS or Offer & Order system.

Option 1

We build it for you

Tell us the shopping experience you need: a low-fare calendar, anywhere-to-anywhere search, an AI-agent channel, an audit tool. We compose it from services already running in production.

Option 2

You build it on our web services

Your developers call the same services directly and build whatever you imagine for your airline.com, for your apps, for your partners or for your AI agents; without sizing your core systems for look-to-book or others.

Option 3

Your AI agents call it directly

Every capability is also an MCP endpoint, so assistants and agents discover the tools and ask for availability, prices, routings or taxes themselves. No bespoke connector, and still not a single call to your PSS.
